WE PROVIDE A FREE SERVICE

I have listed below some information from our CEO and owner Mr. James Pledger. Mr. Pledger is a retired FBI agent and a past representative for gun manufacturers such as Glock and Sig Sauer. Myself and other counterparts in our group have extensive law-enforcement backgrounds. We understand an agency's need for a streamline way of protecting themselves and their officers from errors and liability while also efficiently moving these guns out of their evidence rooms to make room for more P/E. This will keep everything neat and orderly, minimize loss and make audits smooth and easy with no surprises. Our method is environmentally safe and requires very limited resources on your agency's part. Please review the below listed material and text that our CEO James Pledger provides.

"Gunbusters is a national company with regional affiliates all across the USA. I own the affiliate for Georgia and Florida. We are in Jacksonville, Florida and have a growing number of agency clients in both states.

We do not require a written agreement, but I’ll enclose our standard MOU for your review, as well as the destruction list spreadsheet and receipt form.

I 'm retired FBI and many of our staff are current or retired LEOs. We are business members of the Florida and Georgia Chiefs and Sheriffs Associations and exhibit at relevant conferences.

Our standard service is free. We are a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) and our pickup and destruction process is approved by BATF. We are able to offer our service free by stripping and recycling repair parts from the firearms before destroying the serialized receiver, which is the firearm per ATF definitions. We also have a variance from ATF to accept defaced, sawed off, full auto and destructive devices, including obsolete SWAT weapons. We do not now and have never sold complete firearms.

Our standard process is simple - We work with you in advance to collect data on the firearms to be picked up (make, model, caliber, serial number, etc.) for our ATF records and then schedule a mutually agreeable date for the pickup. Our staff will arrive to do an on-site inventory to verify the information and give you a receipt for the firearms and other items accepted for disposal. We then securely transport the items to our licensed facility in JAX. The destruction of each receiver is documented by video cameras inside our pulverizer machine. After destruction, you will receive a CD/DVD for your files with the individual video clips of each firearm being pulverized along with a document file that contains our ATF acquisition and disposition records. These data provide rock solid chain of custody documentation of the disposition of each item.

Note that also at no charge we will take other property - knives, swords, BB guns, tasers, badges, handcuffs, batons, ammunition, etc. for disposal. We will also destroy agency hard drives and small electronics. "

If you could inquire with your property evidence supervisor to see if they have anything that they would like us to come and pick up for destruction? At this time we are scheduling for the next few months out. We can travel over, verify and inventory what you have and then we bring everything back to our shop for pulverization. After destruction we will forward over the destruction proof data. Video data on a DVD or flash drive. If you haven't already , it is time to give us a try? At the end of each destruction lot we provide you with a DVD containing an itemized video for each receiver we destroy. There is NO liability in a destroyed receiver. The video provides agency record of each item's destruction.
